A little montage of most of the costumes I’ve made for myself over the last few years. For anyone interested, the costumes are as follows,
Row A: Female Pyramid Head(Silent Hill), Black Cat(Spiderman), Zombie Belle(Disney), Miss Scarlet(Cluedo), Zatanna(DC Comics), Elektra(Marvel Comics), Doll (Original Creation), Bubblehead Nurse(Silent Hill), Revy(Black Lagoon), Lara Croft(Tombraider) and Black Widow(Marvel Comics)
Row B: Emiliana Santi v.1 (A.C.Brotherhood), Terrance(South Park), Red Lantern(DC Comics), Megera(Disney), Rosie Ragemore (Original Portal Weapons Expert), Witch(Left4Dead), Commander Shepard(Mass Effect 2), Emiliana Santi v.3 (A.C.Brotherhood), Isabela(Dragon Age 2-Romance), Tank Girl(Tank Girl Comics) and female Daryl Dixon(Walking Dead).
I feel like a master of disguise. But apart from that, I just want to say a few words about cosplay. As a kid I was bullied. Up until my late teens I really lacked confidence especially with my physical self. (I’ve always been on the terribly skinny side) When I discovered cosplay, I found the means for the first time, to feel so much more confident about myself both inside and out. Its also given me something to channel my creativity into. But aside from this its really given me the greatest gift in the life-long friendships I have made. Through dressing up as someone else, its really let me find myself. Ironic.
