Set #1 of my Morrigan cosplay from Darkstalkers. 

I have had the wings hanging up on my wall for 2 years and never finished the costumes. So finally I finished her in the evening before the con. A lot of love went into this costume and I felt amazing wearing it at LSCC this weekend.

SO TODAY…. I’ve been working on Jack’s body suit. SOME OF ITS INACCURATE. But shhh don’t tell anyone. P.s. I cant paint for shit. 

So apart from the trousers which are finished here’s my progress on Jack’s Jacket.

I feel like a master of disguise. But apart from that, I just want to say a few words about cosplay. As a kid I was bullied. Up until my late teens I really lacked confidence especially with my physical self. (I’ve always been on the terribly skinny side) When I discovered cosplay, I found the means for the first time, to feel so much more confident about myself both inside and out. Its also given me something to channel my creativity into. But aside from this its really given me the greatest gift in the life-long friendships I have made. Through dressing up as someone else, its really let me find myself. Ironic.
